Worthy Grand Knights,
At the last Chapter meeting the subject of the number of delegates to which each Council is entitled came up. After a review of the by-laws we find that each Council is entitled to six (6) delegates for the first one hundred fifty (150) members and one (1) delegate for each additional fifty (50) members with a maximum of twenty (20) delegates for any Council. Please note that the additional delegates are for a full fifty (50) members not a part of, e.g. if you have two hundred fifty (250) members you are entitled to eight (8) delegates; if you have two hundred forty nine (249) members you only get seven (7) delegates. You are also entitled to an equal number of alternates. Alternates may vote only in the absence of a full number of delegates,e.g. you have two hundred fifty (250) members, you are entitled to eight (8) delegates, if only seven (7) of your delegates show up, one (1) of your alternates gets to vote. Membership is computed based upon the June 30th roster received from Supreme.
